Third User Community Workshop

12-14 June 2013

Avra Imperial Hotel

Kolymbari, Chania, Crete

Scope

The 3rd TELEIOS User Community Workshop is addressed to experts from the international EO community who are interested in influencing current developments for rethinking the accessibility of EO data. It will be of specific interest for EO data providers or operators of large archives and the multimedia search engine R&D community.

At the 3rd TELEIOS User Community Workshop we will present the final results of the TELEIOS project. We will start with the workshop reception in the evening on June 12 to allow people to travel to Chania on the same day. The major part of the workshop will be on June 13 and will consist of hands-on experiences and focused discussions on the two applications studied by TELEIOS. We would like to receive your feedback on the usefulness and usability of the systems we have developed for the two applications. Finally, on June 14, we will allow you to explore potential exploitation of the TELEIOS technologies in your working environment. This will be done with a tutorial on TELEIOS technologies and hands-on sessions where, with our help, you could try our technologies on your favorite application.
